This book is incredible helpful and useful as a study guide to the CPCE, NCE, or another counseling exam. First of all, it’s divided into multiple section based on the content areas of the exams. Each section is then filled with about 100 questions that are similar to the questions on these exams. Basically, 100 practice questions for the NCE, CPCE, etc. That alone is priceless! However, it doesn’t end there. Each question is then follow with an explanation of which multiple choice question is correct, but also why the other answers are incorrect. This means that you’re not only learning more about the correct answer, you are also learning about all of the incorrect answers too!
At the end of the book, there is a cramming section. Of course, you’ll want to space out your studying for the NCE, CPCE, or other counseling exam. However, as another way to take in the information, or to refresh your memory as the test date get’s closer, you can use this final section to prepare.
