January 15, 2024

In the category of Professional Orientation and Ethical Practice on the National Counselor Examination (NCE), the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE), or another counseling exam, you’ll almost certainly need to know the foundational principles outlined by the American Counseling Association in their 2014 Code of Ethics.

This video will explain each of these principles in depth. Having a good understanding of the principles of autonomy, nonmaleficence, beneficence, justice, fidelity, and veracity will be critical for ethical practice, and while taking your exams.
